As the name implies, ‘fine dining’ is different from an ordinary restaurant visit – while it mostly is about a great gastronomical experience, it goes beyond that. Firstly, we have to ask the question: what makes dining so enjoyable?
For most, it is a rich serving of lunch or dinner. Others swear by the different flavours when they talk about great food. Fine dining is much more than that.
Fine dining as a form of art
Once our Guests arrive to Salon Restaurant they are presented with a variety of menus from which they can put together their order. After that, our chefs start working in our kitchen in order to create pieces of gastronomical art.
Just as with other art forms, the artists – in this case, our chefs – “build up” fine dining dishes with utmost care and attention to detail.
The significance of fine dining lies in the details
Fine dining consists of six to eight servings. Our guests receive appetizers and desserts too, and every meal is accompanied by carefully chosen wines to make the dining complete.
You may think at first, that this does not make for a filling dining experience.
Many sceptics would argue that such small “pieces of art” are not enough to satisfy one’s hunger. However, that is not the case. All the flavours and textures are best when the meals are served and enjoyed in a carefully chosen order. This ensures that after finishing the last dish, our guests leave our restaurant with a satisfied feeling.
The dishes are exceptional not only in their taste, but in their beauty as well
Flavour alone however, is not enough when it comes to creating a fine dining meal. Looks also play an important role in the perfect culinary experience – that is why all dishes are made with appearance in mind.
The placement and amount of decorative elements is also crucial. The less is more rule applies heavily here.
Our executive chef, Wolf András, along with his colleagues, Szűcs Zoltán and Fekete Antonio work tirelessly each day to perfect and prepare Salon Restaurant’s fine dining dishes so that we can serve exceptional meals to You. Master confectioner Nagy Anna is in charge of the marvellous desserts that are unique in both taste and looks.
Our goal is to charm and delight our Guests with the experiences that only fine dining can offer.
To summarize, fine dining is not simply a luxury version of everyday gastronomy. It is a form of art that brings joy to both our chefs and Guests as well.
Book a table in our restaurant and let us surprise you with this fantastic experience!
